General principles :

The creation of a socio-economic observatory allows the university to play a key role. The observatory provides the local and the regional business operators with all the necessary information and the tools in order to make the right decisions. In addition, the observatory helps the operators to have a clear vision in order to develop the right projects taking into account the human and the natural resources of the region, which will benefit socially and economically.

Objectives:

• Collect economic and social data about Abda Doukkala region so as to have an updated database that will assess permanently the current situation.
• Develop tools of decision by creating, organizing, disseminating an updated information to guide socioeconomic operators in developing the projects to be undertaken.
• Ensure the follow-up, the analysis, and the assessment of the economic policies implemented at the local and regional level in order to make the right decisions to support the innovative projects.
